St. Pete Beach, Florida — Gulf of America
Salinity Labs is an independent marine product testing service operating from an active commercial watercraft fleet. We put your product into the Gulf, not a chamber, and document exactly what happens.
Salt spray chambers simulate. We do not. Our commercial fleet, licensed captains, and trained dock staff operate year-round in Gulf of America conditions that no laboratory can reproduce. We document everything: environmental data, tester feedback, failure events, and before-and-after photography, then deliver a formal written report your R&D team can act on.
Our testing platform
Every vessel type in our operation creates a distinct and valuable testing environment. Your product does not sit in a single controlled scenario — it moves through the same varied, demanding conditions your customers will put it through.
Every asset in our fleet is already owned, insured, staffed, and operational. Your product enters a working commercial environment on day one of the engagement.
Testing packages
Every package is priced across three variables: what your product is exposed to, how long the engagement runs, and how often we report back to you. The packages below represent the most common combinations. If your product needs something different, we build it from the same three elements on a custom quote.
Shoreline
Product rides along in normal commercial operations — rental boats, dock staff, charter guests. Organic real-world exposure with structured observation, photo documentation, and a single closeout report.
Starting at
$1,500
Best for apparel, consumables, accessories
Open Water
Assigned vessel type, named testers, full environmental data logging, and monthly interim reports. Every deployment is documented. Closeout report includes design recommendations and full data package.
Starting at
$5,500
Best for hardware, electronics, safety gear
Gulf Run
Sustained high-speed spray at 50 mph and above, repeated saltwater submersion, hull vibration, and wave impact aboard our commercial PWC fleet. Bi-weekly reporting, video documentation, and full failure analysis.
Starting at
$11,000
Best for cases, mounts, coatings, performance gear
Build Your Own
Choose your exposure condition, engagement duration, and reporting interval independently. Priced from the same component matrix as the packages above — quoted after a 30-minute discovery call.

Fleet integration, seasonal, benchmarking
Engagement durations are calendar days of active deployment within normal commercial operations and do not represent continuous 24-hour exposure. Contact hours vary by vessel type, operational volume, and season. All pricing in USD. Custom engagements quoted after discovery call.
What you receive
This is a representative excerpt from a Fleet Integration engagement covering a marine hardware product across a 90-day season. Every engagement produces structured data like this, compiled into a formal written report with recommendations your product team can act on.
